The Pulikkan lab at the Blood Research Institute (BRI), Versiti has immediate Postdoctoral Fellow positions available to study chromatin dynamics and gene regulation in normal and malignant hematopoiesis. The lab focuses on: (1) Interplay between transcription factors and chromatin dynamics in normal and malignant hematopoietic stem cells; (2) Transcriptional deregulation in acute myeloid leukemia; and (3) Non-coding RNA function in hematopoiesis and leukemia. This position is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, research-oriented individual with a Ph.D. in the fields of Cancer Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or related field. Successful candidates must also have a proven track record of productivity and research experience.
The BRI is one of the nation’s leading blood research centers. The BRI is located adjacent to the Medical College of Wisconsin on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, which is also home to Milwaukee’s major teaching hospitals, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital. The proximity of the BRI to the basic and clinical research programs of these institutions promote productive environment for collaboration.
