The position is placed in Dr. Thomas Renné’s laboratory at the University Medical Center HamburgEppendorf (UKE) and funded by the Collaborative Research Centre 841 (SFB841, https://sfb841.de/english/homepage.html). Our scientific focus is on analyses of the crosstalk of coagulation and infl ammation; see
Maas & Renné, BLOOD 2018. The position is initially open for a 2.5 year fixed term contract until 31.12.2021 with the possibility for prolongation and would be most suitable for an scientist with strong background in experimental thrombosis & hemostasis and/or vascular sciences.
Applicants must have a PhD or equivantent degree and an a strong background in experimental vascular biology, infl ammation or thrombosis & hemostasis reseach. Experience in modern animal models, intravital techniques or systems biology competences are advantageous. The applicants will be evaluated
