Precision Immunology Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine
A postdoctoral position is available to study antigen-specific lymphocyte responses in human allergic diseases in Maria Curotto de Lafaille laboratory at the Precision Immunology Institute and Food Allergy Institute of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Work in Dr. Curotto de Lafaille laboratory aims to decipher the immune mechanisms involved in adaptive lymphocyte memory of allergic responses in conditions of active allergic disease and acquired tolerance. The laboratory integrates human and experimental mouse studies utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that includes state of the art methodologies such as CITE-seq, RNAseq, spectral cytometry, and lymphocyte repertoire analysis. Prospective candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent degree and have a strong background in Immunology. They should have experience in the study of human or mouse lymphocytes, and ability to perform complex flow cytometry and molecular biology. Previous work on lymphocyte repertoire analysis and basic bioinformatics knowledge are a plus.
