Postdoctoral Fellow for Nanoparticle-based Therapeutic Delivery to the Brain

The Center for Nanomedicine (CNM) at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine invites applications for a postdoctoral position to work with Jung Soo Suk, Ph.D. on projects related to nanoparticle-based nucleic acid and drug delivery for treating diseases affecting the central nervous system, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease. 


We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience and knowledge in molecular biology and pathology in the brain, and previous involvements in therapeutic intervention and/or delivery studies are preferred. Experience with cell culture, brain-related animal study, microscopy, plasmid design, western blot, immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR and flow cytometry are required. 


This position requires a highly motivated candidate with a doctoral degree in Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Neuroscience, Biochemistry or similar areas, who has excellent oral and written communications skills. Applicants should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research group.
