We are currently seeking an innovative, inventive and self-driven Postdoctoral Associate within the lab of Dr. Michelle Wang at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. The Wang lab operates where physics and biology intersect – pioneering single molecule techniques to investigate fundamental biological processes that impact DNA. To foster a diverse, collaborative research setting, we consider candidates from a broad range of backgrounds including single molecule biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology, nanofabrication, and instrumentation. Postdoctoral Associates will undertake creative and rigorous research to investigate DNA-based biological processes that allow novel, high resolution insights into the molecular mechanics of the cell.


General Qualifications:

  • PhD in physics, applied physics, engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or a related field.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative group environment.
  • Effective communication skills, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic.
