Two postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Kyba at the University of Minnesota. These are associated with NIH-funded projects aimed towards:
(1) Understanding sex-differences in skeletal muscle stem cell physiology with aging, particularly mechanistic effects of estrogen receptor signaling.
(2) Derivation of tissue-specific stem cells from pluripotent stem cells via teratoma formation, with a particular focus on the skeletal muscle lineage.
Additional information about research in the Kyba lab can be found on the lab website at www.kyba.com
