The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology at The University of Kentucky has an opening for a highly ambitious and self-motivated Postdoctoral Scholar starting from January 1, 2020. The research of the laboratory is focused on breast cancer metastasis, cancer stem cells, cancer metabolism, and the interaction of immune cells with tumor cells. Applicants who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply: 1) have an MD or PhD, with a strong background in cancer biology, stem cell biology, metabolism, and immunology; 2) Evidence of productivity from PhD or postdoctoral work; 3) Highly self-motivated, and capable of working independently with limited supervision; 4) Experience in Flow Cytometry, Imaging and mice experiments is preferred; 5) Well-organized and good communication skills.
