Postdoctoral positions in Chemical Biology are available at Sorbonne University (https://www.sorbonne-universite.fr), a multidisciplinary, research-intensive and word-class academic institution located in the heart of Paris (France), to work with Prof. Arnaud Gautier, recently appointed full professor at Sorbonne University, on the development of innovative biomolecular tools to image the inner workings of cells and organisms.
Candidates must hold a PhD in chemical biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related fields and have a strong interest in the development of methods for the study of biological systems. An expertise in the fields of protein engineering, molecular and cell biology, biophysical chemistry and microscopy will be a plus. Candidates are expected to be self-driven, to have strong work-capacity and enthusiasm for science, and to have good communication skills.
These positions, supported by a European Research Council (ERC) consolidator grant awarded to Prof. Arnaud Gautier, are available from January 2020 and are offered on a fixed term contract of two years.
