Postdoc position precision medicine

We have an opening for a highly motivated, creative Postdoc to further develop novel functional precision medicine methodologies with the aim to guide treatment decisions and improve therapy in childhood cancer. The Bourquin lab at the Children’s Hospital in Zurich (KISPI), Campus Balgrist, has developed a functional screening platform that is based on drug response profiles with high content imaging in primary patient samples. The position provides the unique opportunity to perform translational research in the setting of a relevant disease context with an impact on patient care. Project development involves interaction within the PediaCure Consortium (IBM research and UZH) and our Zurich precision hematology consortium (ETHZ, USZ and KISPI). The successful candidate will join a vibrant, ambitious and multi-cultural research team in an attractive new research campus.


PhD in the field of cell or molecular biology, cancer biology or immunology 

Motivation for precision medicine with strong track record in related research fields

Track record in grant / scientific writing
