Support our research efforts and improve perovskite and perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells. Your tasks include the following:
Preparation of high band gap perovskite solar cells with band gaps ~1.72 eV and two transparent contacts as well as the efficiency optimization of these devices Careful characterization of films and devices to better understand losses in performance relative to the Shockley-Queisser limit Incorporation of these high band gap devices into tandem solar cells using crystalline silicon bottom solar cells Fine-tuning of contact layers for minimal recombination losses and the optimization of electron and hole contact layers for minimizing parasitic absorption
University degree and PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related disciplines Several publications in peer-reviewed journals – Ideally high-impact and related to photovoltaics Experience with perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization High social competence and ability to work cooperatively in a team Ability and willingness to act on one`s own responsibility Excellent written and oral command of English
