Several PhD student positions are open for application now. The positions will be officially available in Autumn 2020. These positions are enabled by several EU projects. This PhD program will be the N094 program offered by the Medical University of Vienna. The thematic program will be Medical Physics. In the end of the first year, students need to submit a thesis proposal and pass an evaluation to continue their doctoral studies. To graduate, the students need first author publications with a cumulative impact factor of 10.

The work will be carried out in the Drexler/Leitgeb Lab, which has extensive experiences in multimodal optical imaging with preclinical and clinical applications. Depending on your interests, you may send your CVs to sub-group leaders to apply:

The applicants are assumed to have a background in either electrical engineering, physics or biomedical engineering. The working and teaching language is English. Enrollment is on a rolling basis.
