Innsbruck’s world-wide renowned physics labs and theory groups have been granted a prestigious Doctoral Programme “Atoms, Light, and Molecules” funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) for a second time. We are currently recruiting ambitious researchers for this Ph.D. Programme in the fields of ultracold atoms and quantum optics.
We are recruiting 28 highly motivated and talented student researchers with a masters degree in physics or equivalent for our 4 years doctoral programme Atoms, Light, and Molecules. Topics include chemical physics, astrophysics, ultracold atoms, high-resolution spectroscopy, quantum optics, quantum information, quantum many body systems and machine learning. All students in the Programme will be support scientific visits abroad from Austria for 6 months to build and strengthen international collaborations.
Successful candidates will become employees of the University with full social security coverage under Austrian national law. The gross salary for these positions will be about 38,555 €/year.
