Salary: Grade 2: £17,079 - £19,202 p.a. (pro rata)
We are looking to appoint a part-time receptionist to work mornings only within our successful, growing department. This will be a varied and interesting role in supporting multiple people and activities within our offices based at the Radcliffe Primary Care Building and Gibson Building. It is essential that the receptionist is able to cope with conflicting demands on their time and prioritise their workload.
The main duties will involve welcoming visitors and directing them as appropriate, taking incoming calls and dealing with basic queries, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, maintaining a tidy reception, booking parking spaces, setting up meeting rooms and providing refreshments. The postholder will also be required to take on ad-hoc tasks as required to assist colleagues and ensure the smooth running of the Department.
We are looking for someone with previous reception and/or customer service experience, with good IT skills; excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently whilst knowing when to refer issues to others
Previous experience within a higher education setting would be an advantage, though not essential.
This is a part-time position working mornings only 25 hours per week Monday through Friday. The hours of work will be 7:30am - 12:30pm.
