Part-time Information Governance Manager

Salary: Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a. (pro rata)

We are seeking an experienced Information Governance professional to lead the delivery of all information governance, risk management and compliance activities in a busy, dynamic and growing clinical academic department.


Working with the Head of IT and IG, you will advise and signpost on all aspects of information governance, identifying and mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with legal and funding body requirements. As well as providing direct support for academics and researchers, you will lead the coordination of work towards the delivery of three departmental information governance initiatives: continued certification under the NHS Information Governance Toolkit, accreditation with the ISO 27000 series Information Security Management Systems; and implementation of the Cyber Essentials Framework.


You will have excellent customer service, analytical and reasoning skills, with hands-on front-line support experience and evidence of understanding the legal background and principles of Information Security Management Governance. Evidence of ability to show the empathy, tact and diplomacy required for excellent customer service are vital.
