Salary: Grade 5: £25,482 - £30,395 p.a.
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual, educated to A-level or equivalent, who has excellent attention to detail and prioritising skills, and good written and verbal communication skills.
This varied role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Oxford based groups based at the Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the Centre¿s work related to Vietnam, as well as providing PA support to Professor Nick White, and would include assisting with meeting arrangements, organising travel, expenses, diary management, organising conferences, providing financial support, and other administrative support as required.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of diary management (including making complex travel arrangements), experience of handling information of a sensitive and sometimes confidential nature and the ability to manage finances. You will have impeccable time management and organisational skills, be an excellent communicator, work efficiently under pressure, have high level IT skills and have a flexible and resilient approach to work. Along with experience of administrative work, preferably in an academic environment, and show evidence of dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.
This post is fixed-term until 30 September 2020 (in the first instance).
