Salary: Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a.
We seeking are seeking an Office Manager within Professor Ian Pavords Respiratory Medicine Unit. As Office Manager you will occupy a post that is multifaceted. You will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the Oxford BRC Respiratory theme and academic department of respiratory medicine, taking primary responsibility for financial and administrative reporting to the NIHR. This will involve organising and attending meetings with the partners and extensive email and phone communications.
As our Office Manager you will oversee the smooth operation of general office management tasks as well as project management and other administrative tasks including managing the Professors and other Principal Investigators diaries; coordinating staff recruitment; personnel management; organising departmental meetings; preparing yearly BRC reports; and managing the departmental finances.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent broadly within the biological sciences. You will be highly motivated and organised with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. It is essential that you demonstrate strong leadership qualities and proven office management experience. You will hold substantial experience in managing complex projects and also be keen to acquire new skills as needed.
This post is full-time and fixed-term for up to 1 year in the first instance.
