Nuclear Cardiologist / Cardiac Imager

The University of Michigan is seeking to add a talented faculty member to the Nuclear Cardiology imaging group. The candidate must be BE/BC in General Cardiology and COCATS 4 Level 3 BE/BC in Nuclear Cardiology. BE/BC Level 3 training in one or more additional imaging modalities is desirable. The candidate must be team oriented and be able to communicate effectively with a large multidisciplinary program. The Nuclear Cardiology laboratory is a busy state-of-the-art facility with SPECT/CT and the latest digital PET/CT. Candidates in this position will assess, consult, and treat patients with cardiac and vascular disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, and will participate in the teaching of students, residents, and fellows. The candidate must have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills, and be able to access and input electronic medical documentation. Candidates wishing to pursue academic careers are preferred. Physician Scientists with research expertise in advanced cardiac imaging are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in teaching and educational programs. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.
