We are looking for an experienced protein biochemist to be a lab manager for a collaborative and supportive research group. This individual will have opportunities to express, purify, and characterize a variety of proteins and recombinant peptides for use in quantitative proteomics, structural, and mechanistic studies.
We seek a bright, energetic, motivated individual to contribute to our research program focused on coagulation and regenerative therapies driven by mass spectrometry-based omic readouts. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail oriented, have a strong aptitude for learning new areas of research, and be adept at managing multiple projects in parallel. Good organizational, computational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as, part of a research team are necessary. Candidates will be expected to manage laboratory inventory, safety compliance and general lab upkeep while maintaining independent research projects. Candidates with at least a Master’s level education seeking long-term employment preferred.
