We are looking for creative early-career or established researchers who wish to develop exciting long-term independent programs in plant and microbial science and be part of the highly collaborative culture of the John Innes Centre. As an international centre of excellence we encourage applications from researchers from all branches of life sciences. We particularly welcome those working in the areas of population genetics, chemistry and biology of plant and microbial natural products, cell biology, biotic interactions of plants and the interface of agriculture and the natural environment. The JIC offers access to a range of centrally-led, state-of-the art technology platforms that support Group Leaders and their labs across all scientific disciplines, including bioimaging, biomolecular analyses, genomics and database services, and field, horticultural and (quarantine) entomology services. Appointments can be made at any level(Tenure Track or Tenure) depending on experience and come with significant support (professional development, research and administrative).
