Faculty Positions in Institute of Modern Biology

The Institute of Modern Biology at Nanjing University, Nanjing, China is conducting a faculty search for tenure-track Assistant Professor and tenured Full Professor in research aeras including but not limited to computational modeling, machine learning in biology, cancer immunology and metabolism, inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases, gene editing, precision medicine and innovative drug discovery. 

The newly established Institute is led by Dr. Anning Lin, who was a tenured professor at the University of Chicago, USA, and is advised by a scientific advisory committee composed of a group of internationally renowned scholars. IMB pursuits academic excellence, commits to original and rigorous scientific inquiry, aiming to become one of the best biomedical research institutes internationally.  

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and an outstanding record of conducting innovative research. Successful candidates are expected to develop a vigorous independent and extramurally funded research program and to participate in undergraduate and graduate education. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with IMB faculty and other investigators including clinicians across the University in a scholarly and stimulating research environment.
