The Mayo Clinic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an accomplished Scientist with an interest in the area of pregnancy immunology to expand our discovery and translational research enterprise.
This research position is intended to be the Chair of OB/GYN Division of Research and as such, the successful candidate will lead an independent and nationally/internationally-recognized research program in the area of pregnancy immunology that will innovatively impact the field of pregnancy. This person will hold academic rank at Mayo Clinic commensurate with experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate should have specific areas of expertise that are particularly relating to maternal-fetal immunity that may affect fetal development and pregnancy success. As a scientist located at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester campus, the candidate will be expected to integrate well and welcome collaborations with scientists, clinician investigators and clinicians engaged in research in other departments and centers across the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS Credentials of a successful candidate will include a doctoral degree in a biomedical science field (PhD, MD/PhD, MD or equivalent). Applicants must have a strong publication record and history of NIH- or equivalent extramural funding.
