Salary: Grade 5: £25,482 - £30,395 p.a.
We have an immediate vacancy for a proactive Executive Assistant or graduate with excellent office and communication skills for this key role working with David Clark, Professor of Experimental Psychology in the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma as Executive PA and Research Administrator.
This is a full-time permanent position.
You will join a busy, multidisciplinary team that is a world leader in developing and evaluating effective psychological treatments for anxiety disorders. Providing a comprehensive and professional PA service, the wide portfolio of activities also include assisting the Professor in running a large clinical research group, organising teaching and other academic events, preparing material for the internet, administrating budgets and establishing good working relations with a variety of professionals.
You will have relevant professional experience with a proactive approach and the ability to work flexibly with the minimum of supervision. With excellent organisational skills and the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, you will be familiar with Apple Mac OSX systems (the office is entirely Mac based) with fast accurate word processing skills; be familiar with spreadsheets, invoices and the management of accounts. Experience of maintaining web pages and management of a reference database (Endnote) are essential along with discretion and sensitivity when dealing with patients and other members of the public.
