Doctoral researcher positions and post-doc positions within the CRC 1461 “Neurotronics: Bio-inspired Information Pathways”

The Collaborative Research Center 1461 (CRC 1461) has recently been established at Kiel University by the German Research Association (DFG) and is entitled:

„Neurotronics: Bio-inspired Information Pathways “.

The goal of this interdisciplinary Collaborative Research Center is the investigation of fundamental mechanisms of biological information processing and their translation into electronic circuits. Neurobiology, behavioral science, system- and network- theory, nonlinear physics, electronic circuit technology (including memristive and memsensor circuit elements) and material science are the fields of research working together in the CRC 1461.

The CRC is based in and centered around Kiel University and supported by external partners. This allows the CRC to address these challenging, interdisciplinary research questions. The partner institutions are: Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), Technical University Ilmenau (TUIL), University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU), Technische Hochschule Lübeck (THL), the Leibniz-Institute for High Performance Microelectronics (IHP) and the Leibniz-Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN).
