The Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to lead our translational research programs, and we invite nominations and applications for this position. The BNI CSO will be responsible for the overall performance of over 25 neuroscientists and their translational research programs, which include the Ivy Brain Tumor Center, Barrow Aneurysm & AVM Research Center, the Barrow Neuromodulation Center, the Fulton ALS Center, and the Norton Thoracic Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center. The CSO will provide vision and innovative leadership to faculty members and facilitate collaborations between basic science investigators and clinicians.

The candidate should have a MD, PhD, or both degrees with minimum ten years of experience as a principal investigator conducting peer-reviewed, extramurally-funded, biomedical laboratory research.
