Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a distinguished physician-investigator to serve as Chief and Senior Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy within the Department of Medicine and with a proposed academic appointment as Professor or Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School commensurate with qualifications.
Applicants should be board-certified gastroenterologists who are clinical experts in both internal medicine and the subspecialty of gastroenterology, have proven records of research accomplishments, and maintain thoughtful approaches to educational activities and engagement in the wider community. This individual will have far reaching leadership responsibilities; therefore, he or she must have exemplary administrative, mentoring, and communication acumen not only to lead a large and complex division, but also to engage with institutional, departmental, and divisional leaders, the pan-Harvard community as well as the regional, national, and international communities in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy.
