Short summary

The position of BRF Admin and Project Coordinator will provide professional administration and support services to the whole of the Biological Research Facility (BRF) and scientific users of The Francis Crick Institute. The post holder will take lead, as required, in drafting BRF project scopes and coordinate any projects BRF run at a time, assuring outputs are achieved and timelines and legal scope are fulfilled. The person will be pivotal in creation and dissemination of communications within BRF and beyond.

The BRF Admin and Project Coordinator will be responsible for purchasing goods and services on behalf of BRF where required, will liaise with procurement and will thereby assure value for money is achieved and relevant procurement and financial procedures and policies are followed at all times. The post holder will provide support to the BRF Business Administration Manager in assurance of smooth running of the BRF office and will be a main point of contact for contractors, service users and others needing access to the animal units working and will assure that barrier protocol and barrier flow are followed according to microbiological recommendation.
