Associate/Full Professor in Neurotrauma Research

The Department of Emergency Medicine of the Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a well-established mid-career or senior level Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. for appointment at the rank of tenured Associate/Full Professor to undertake independent basic and/or translational research in the area of traumatic CNS injury and/or stroke and serve as Director of the Brain Research Lab (BRL). The BRL is an existing group of faculty basic science researchers and their shared staff and lab space working on the development of neuroprotective and neuroregenerative treatments for TBI and/or stroke.

The successful applicant will have dedicated lab space and access to a wealth of existing facilities for neurotrauma research available in the Emory University School of Medicine as well as receive a nationally competitive startup package.
