The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center in partnership with the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites applications for the newly established endowed Irving Professorships. We are seeking the recruitment of mid-career (senior tenured Associate Professors) or more established investigators (tenured Professors). The Irving Professorship program seeks individuals with exceptional accomplishments and abilities in broad areas of population and clinical health sciences cancer research. The successful candidates will be nominated for membership within the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center within one of 4 Research Programs and will have access to superb Shared Resources at discounted rates.
We seek faculty members with a strong commitment to research, mentoring, and teaching, fostering a climate that embraces both excellence and diversity. Qualified PhD and/or MD investigators should have demonstrated scientific productivity with an established NIH and non-NIH funding portfolio, and evidence of recognition in their respective fields.
