The Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy has immediate openings for two tenure track positions at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek those with expertise in the areas of targeted drug/gene delivery or nanomedicine. Under the leadership of Dr. Thomas Schmittgen, the Department of Pharmaceutics is developing a research focus area in nanomedicine/targeted drug delivery to complement our existing strengths in pharmacokinetics/pharmacometrics/systems pharmacology. Applicants should have a record of a strong independent research program or demonstrate outstanding potential to build such a program. Faculty hires will also participate in professional and graduate instructional efforts of the college. The department’s pharmacometric’s expertise is located in both Gainesville and Orlando https://cpsp.pharmacy.ufl.edu/ and the nanomedicine/drug delivery positions are aimed to build/enhance our program in Gainesville though integration with other units in the UF Health Science Center complex http://www.health.ufl.edu/.
