Assistant/Associate Professor, Term Tenure Track
The Department of Hematopathology at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center currently has a term tenure-track faculty appointment opening for a hematopathologist who is licensed or eligible for license by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Certification in Hematology by the American Board of Pathology is preferred but eligibility to take the board is acceptable.
This individual will participate in interpretation, reporting and consulting of bone marrow and lymph node specimens of hematological malignancies. Preference will be given to candidates with potential for independently funded research.
Over 18,000 bone marrow and lymph node specimens were assessed at this institution during the last fiscal year. Rank and salary are commensurate with academic background and achievements.
