The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zurich invites applications for an
Assistant Professorship (non tenure track) for Clinical Parkinson Research
The position is limited to six (3+3) years. It is hosted at the Department for Neurology of the University Hospital Zurich.
The assistant professor represents the subject in teaching, research and clinical services. Appropriate active participation in teaching within the framework of medical studies as well as in postgraduate training and commitment to the promotion of young scientists is expected. In cooperation with local and national specialist societies, a national advanced training curriculum ""Parkinson’s disease / movement disorders"" is to be developed.
The successful candidate should have an advanced or completed specialty training in neurology. Your research in the field of Parkinson’s disease, including in clinical studies, is internationally recognized. You have a team-oriented attitude and you are committed to interdisciplinary cooperation and highly motivated to promote young scientists. Good organizational skills and a high level of stress resilience at work are required. For clinical practice, knowledge of the German language is required.
