The AGORA Cancer Research Center in Lausanne brings together over 300 scientists from the Lausanne and Geneva academic institutions. With access to cutting-edge laboratories, sophisticated analytic platforms and specialized bioengineering labs, diverse researchers including basic, translational and clinical cancer researchers, bio- and immuno-engineers, and computational scientists are actively working to accelerate the development of innovative therapeutic solutions for cancer.
To supervise the functioning of its scientific services and infrastructure, and to implement the decisions of the Scientific Committee, the AGORA Cancer Center Lausanne is recruiting a:
AGORA Building Manager
The major tasks will include:
- Head of Research Infrastructure for AGORA
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of the organization of the site’s laboratories
- Representative of AGORA researchers to the academic institutes and external service
This challenging position necessitates a biomedical research background (PhD) at the international-level complemented by a thorough experience in the management of laboratory infrastructure, technology services and team management. Proficiency in both French and English is required. An advanced degree in management would be an asset, while a talent in human relations is critical.
