Position Summary
A postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Reza Shahbazi is available to work on single-cell immune profiling and cancer immunotherapy project. Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. in the area of Bioinformatics, Immunology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Cancer Biology, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Duties or techniques may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cell sorting by flow cytometry or magnetic beads
- Cell culture
- CRISPR gene editing
- Western blotting, cellular and protein analysis
- Single-cell RNAseq
- Animal models
- Maintaining accurate records of experiments and results
- Communicating with other team members and senior departmental members
- Presenting data locally and at national and international meetings

Basic Qualifications
A doctorate or terminal degree is required. The candidate should be highly motivated with a Ph.D. in the area of Bioinformatics, Immunology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Cancer Biology or related fields. The candidate must be diligent, rigorous, able to work independently, approachable and have attention to detail.
