The Division of Rheumatology and Immunology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine seeks a highly motivated scientist who focuses their research on the study of rheumatic autoimmune diseases to expand the current research program. This position is supported by an endowed professorship. The rank is open and will depend on research accomplishments. The successful applicant must have MD or PhD or MD/PhD or their equivalent. Candidates should have a strong track record, depending on their academic rank, of high-level publications and ongoing peer-reviewed research funding. A highly competitive recruiting package is available.

The division offers a dynamic environment of academic excellence, high quality patient care and robust research activity with one clear goal: improve the lives of patients. The division has several highly specialized multi-disciplinary clinics focused on a variety of autoimmune diseases as well as a research program that is focused on immune regulation and the microbiome. Particular emphasis is placed on disease mechanisms in systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and myositis. Our research is funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health, from foundations and grateful patients.
