Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure-track) positions in the Division of Immunobiology
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
The Division of Immunobiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in several areas of Immunology. We welcome applicants with expertise in all areas of Immunology. Areas of special interest include Cancer Immunology, Neuro-Immunology, Innate Immunity, T and B cell Biology, Inborn errors of Immunity, and molecular pathways of inflammation. The Division is an interdisciplinary and interactive research community of over 12 faculty with more than $10M of annual grant awards. Research in the Division focuses on both basic and translational immunology spanning from host-microbial interactions, inflammatory diseases, mucosal Immunology, bone marrow hematopoiesis to mathematical modeling of the immune system.
Being embedded in one of the top pediatric research hospitals in the world, enables unique opportunities to study childhood immunological and inflammatory diseases and develop novel treatments. Applicants leveraging genetic, molecular, and computational approaches are encouraged to apply and will synergize with emerging institutional initiatives. Faculty have access to subsidized state-of-the-art core facilities, high-quality MS, PhD, and MD/PhD programs, and to training programs for postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows, residents, and clinical faculty.
Qualified applicants must have a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree in biomedical sciences. Assistant Professor candidates are expected to have completed postdoctoral training with an outstanding publication record and an innovative research plan. Candidates at the rank of Associate Professor should have an established track record of excellence and a sustained, extramurally funded research program.
