We are seeking an outstanding candidate to fill a post-doctoral position working in the field of cellular immunology in Dr. Na Xiong’s laboratory in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The postdoc will study molecular mechanisms regulating establishment and activation of tissue-resident innate lymphoid cells and T cells in skin homeostasis and inflammation using mouse models and clinical samples. The research in the Xiong lab focuses on development and function of tissue-resident lymphocytes in barrier tissues. Particularly, the lab studies roles of chemokines and other tissue-derived factors in regulation of migration and function of skin-resident lymphocytes [Reference #1) Yang, et al.
