Luznik Laboratory is seeking an experienced immunology researcher to lead research efforts focused on T cell dysfunction and immune evasion in leukemia after chemotherapy and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and work independently and in a leadership capacity with a team of post-docs, students, and research technicians to conduct experiments and present and publish research findings. This is a fully supported, non-tenure track position supported by the NIH and CIPRIT funding. Experience in cellular immunology, multicolor flow cytometry, transcriptomics, and advanced data analysis is preferred. The position will involve studying the mechanisms at the interface of immunotherapy and tumor immune escape mechanisms. This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the laboratory’s mission of in-depth exploration of the basic mechanisms of immunology with an emphasis on direct therapeutic application. Candidates with prior experience with single-cell transcriptomic analysis will be given high priority. This position involves conducting research experiments, documenting results, mentoring direct reports - including research assistants, graduate students, and postdocs, assisting in grant proposals, and enabling collaborations
