The Oviedo Lab is currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher with a strong interest in conducting cutting-edge research on neuropsychiatric disorders utilizing mouse models. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and highly skilled individual to join our dynamic and diverse team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research that aims to uncover the mechanisms through which risk genes associated with neuropsychiatric disorders affect the structure and function of the brain, ultimately influencing disease susceptibility. In addition to collaborative work, the postdoctoral researcher will also have the opportunity to develop an independent project.

The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art resources in the new Fort Neuroscience Research building at Washington University, and a supportive research environment aimed at fostering scientific growth and career development. Career and professional development training for postdoctoral researchers is provided through the Career Center, Teaching Center, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and campus groups. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
