Position Description:

Brain Immunology and Glia (BIG) Center at the Washington University School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. 

We are seeking exceptional PhD, MD/PhD, or MD candidates in basic and/or translational neuroimmunology or glia biology. This is an open call and candidates in all areas of neuroimmunology/glia biology are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will become integrated into the university’s highly successful immunology and neuroscience communities. At the heart of our center is a strong ethos of collaboration, providing a unique platform for interdisciplinary research. Furthermore, our acclaimed graduate programs offer myriad opportunities for faculty to mentor and work alongside emerging talents in the field.

The successful candidate will enjoy access to Center’s shared equipment and expertise, as well as state-of-the-art cores throughout the school of medicine.

Applicants should submit a CV, ½ page description of their one most important paper to date highlighting the novelty of the findings (accepted, published or BioRxiv deposited papers only), 2-page research statement, and the names/contact information of 3 references (no letters are required for application).
