About the Role

Cell Press is hiring a dynamic, detail-oriented Associate Scientific Editor for the "Cell Reports" editorial team. This role offers a unique chance to advance science by shaping content in a top open-access life sciences journal. As an Associate Scientific Editor, you'll critically contribute to peer review, manuscript selection, and scientific communication.
 

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the peer review and publication process of a growing open access journal

   

• Working with a team of scientific editors to build and develop exciting content across biology

   

• Building effective working relationships with colleagues across Cell Press

   

• Networking with researchers at conferences and site visits

   

Requirements

• Have a PhD or other relevant doctoral degree in any discipline in biology

   

• Have Postdoctoral experience

   

• Have broad scientific interests and curiosity; a passion for helping scientists publish their best work

   

• Have excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and focus
