Your responsibilities:

Join the Airway immunology Research Team

  • To explore epithelial and immune me­cha­nisms in ex vivo samples or primary cell cultures
  • Develop and establish cutting-edge tech­no­lo­gy such as genome wide analysis, FACS, and/or single cell se­quen­cing analysis
  • Design of ex­pe­ri­men­tal systems for the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of molecular me­cha­nisms
  • Support super­vision of technical staff and PhD students
  • Writing of scientific ma­nu­scripts and support proposals for third-party funding
  • Attend and present work at inter­national con­fe­rences

Your profile:

  • University degree (PhD) in im­mu­no­lo­gy, biology, molecular medicine, or similar field with out­standing results, at least one published article
  • High motivation, enthusiasm, and com­mit­ment to science
  • Experience in la­bo­ra­to­ry work in im­mu­no­lo­gy, molecular medicine, preferably allergy, spe­ci­fi­cal­ly in cell culture, im­mu­no­logic / bio­chemical or genetic tech­niques
  • Transmitting motivation, en­thu­si­asm, and com­mit­ment to aca­de­mic science
  • Ability to work in­de­pen­dent­ly and goal-oriented
  • An open and curious mindset and team spirit
  • Ability to build up state-of-the-art sci­en­ti­fic tech­niques in the team and to anchor them in the long term
  • Excellent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and sci­en­ti­fic writing skills in English
