The World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) Bio2Q Center at Keio University (hereafter referred to as "Bio2Q") is inviting applications for the position of Junior Principal Investigator (Jr. PIs) (Project Associate Professor or Assistant Professor) and postdoctoral researchers for FY2023. We look forward to receiving applications from creative, highly motivated scientists who will dynamically engage in Bio2Q research activities.

Bio2Q will address the question of how human homeostasis is regulated by the epithelial, immune, neural, and metabolic systems, with an emphasis on microbiome analysis. The center will thereby establish a new form of life science aimed at understanding human multiorgan homeodynamics at resolutions higher than those achieved so far. Bio2Q will implement quantum computing together with artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze multiomics data and elucidate the multiorgan interaction pathways underlying human disease. Furthermore, we will also establish a reverse-translation workflow to decipher the causal relationships within the newly uncovered pathways.

Bio2Q Junior Principal Investigator (Project Associate Professor or Assistant Professor) Fellowships aim to foster globally active researchers and will provide creative, independent scientists with a place where they can autonomously conduct research on a topic within the Bio2Q scope.

Bio2Q Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to foster globally active researchers and will provide creative, independent scientists with a place where they can autonomously conduct research on a topic within the Bio2Q scope.
