W2 professorship for translational oncology

is to be filled at the earliest possible date.

We are looking for a scientist with an international reputation in the field of innovative molecular and cellular analyses of hematological and oncological diseases. This should be evidenced by excellent internationally visible publications as well as acquisition of third-party funding. With appropriate qualifications, a senior physician (“Oberarzt”) position is possible. Participation in the medical school's research collaborations, the Cluster of Excellence Immunosensation2, the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CIO ABCD), and collaborative research centers is expected.

Prerequisites for employment are a completed university degree in medicine or natural sciences as well as habilitation or proof of equivalent scientific achievements, in addition to experience in teaching pursuant to Section 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz NRW).
