Neuroscience Clinician Scientist

The National Neuroscience Institute of Singapore (NNI) is seeking a mid-career/senior clinician to drive translational research in neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular disorders and/or neuroimaging, with a focus on clinical and experimental diagnostics. The successful candidate will facilitate efforts to integrate clinical services and translational research at NNI, while securing competitive grants and establishing new research opportunities and collaborations nationally and internationally. They will also be involved in undergraduate and sub-specialist neuroscience teaching and training research staff.

We welcome applications from candidates who have:

• An international standing in neuroscience translational research with a focus on Neurodegenerative disorders, Cerebrovascular disorders and/or Neuroimaging.
• A proven track record in securing competitive research funds.
• A leader with a reputation for building teams and a strong commitment to teaching and training clinicians and researchers.
• BBS or equivalent basic medical degree, MD/PhD or PhD.

NNI is the national and regional specialist centre for conditions of the brain, spine, nerves and muscles. NNI offers treatment for over 20 subspecialties, including stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumour and brain injury.
