East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) is located in Shanghai, a cosmopolitan metropolis where distinguished people, diverse society and exquisite attractions can be found. It is a key research university (211 project and 985 platform) in China featuring distinctive disciplines but is well known for the chemical engineering related areas. Currently, there are more than 15,000 full time undergraduates, 8,700 graduate students studying at ECUST. The School of Chemical Engineering @ ECUST is composed of the departments of Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Processing and Product Engineering, State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, National Engineering Research Center of Ultra-Fine Powder, Large Scale Reactor Center of Ministry of Education, Institute of Chemical Engineering, Institute of Petroleum Processing and UNILAB of Chemical Reaction Engineering. The school of chemical engineering has a very strong faculty team including two members of Chinese Academy of Engineering, one member of the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), two Cheung Kong scholars. I. Recruiting positions
Positions are available for excellent scholars who are expertise in chemical engineering, applied chemistry, materials science and engineering, and biochemical engineering etc. The candidates who are in the background of catalysis engineering, energy engineering, chemical separation engineering, materials science and engineering, C1 chemical engineering are preferred.
1. Distinguished research achievements in specific disciplines.
2. Meet the standards of Shanghai Oriental Professorship, “The Thousand Talents Plan”, or the “The Thousand Talents Plan for Young Scholars” in principle.
3. PhD degree with several years’ research or industrial experience abroad.
4. Be able to work as a full-time member.
5. The requirements can be flexible if the candidates are exceptionally talented.
