Call for Papers: Energy balance and body composition: newer insights

Special Issue Editors: Mario Soares & Klaas Westerterp 

EJCN announces a call for a special issue on the topic of human energy balance and body composition. This broad title hopes to capture the latest human research on areas that include, but are not restricted to: RCTs for weight loss and maintenance; regulation of energy balance; newer techniques for measuring regional and whole body composition, physical activity or energy expenditure; postprandial regulation of energy metabolism in chronic disease; interplay between energy expenditure and food intake; appetite regulation; prediction of resting energy expenditure in under-represented groups.  

Interested authors must email the editors a draft abstract or ideas page that also highlights the novelty of the manuscript. This crucial step will determine suitability and save time all around. The editors welcome the submission of original articles, systematic reviews, perspectives and comments. All submitted papers will be fast-tracked but will undergo EJCN’s peer review process. The editor’s decision is final.
