Fusion Materials: Creative development of materials and exploration of their function through molecular control
The February 2015 special issue of Polymer Journal on Fusion Materials: Creative development of materials and exploration of their function through molecular control is a collection of papers contributed by the members of the project of same title, supported by the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The project has been focusing on the innovative researches in the construction of eco-friendly, high-functional structural materials, using abundant natural resources.
This special issue brings together 6 Focus Reviews and 17 Original Articles, contributed by the principal investigators participated in the project. Different topics include design, synthesis, processes, functionalization, simulation and theory of fusion materials are covered in these special papers. The accompanying web focus offers access to selected, relevant articles from across Nature Publishing Group to provide further insights to readers of the special issue.
