Editor's choice: pupillometry

Pupillometry can be defined as a science of pupil dynamics. Change in pupil diameter is a direct readout of the brain state and cognitive processing, providing robust information about a variety behavioural variables, from coding task difficulty to reflecting attention fluctuation. Because of its non-invasiveness and objectivity, pupillometry is emerging as a popular and reliable approach to accessing ongoing cognitive processes.

This Editor’s Choice Collection presents some of our latest and most innovative research into basic and clinical pupillometry findings, as well as new methodology for improving pupil dynamics information retrieval.
