Quaternary taphonomy

Taphonomic analysis allows us to understand the formation processes and composition of fossil materials. This Collection contributes to the field’s methodological development while displaying research Articles investigating Quaternary Period bone assemblages, with special interest in the Pleistocene. Submissions reporting experimental works on modern assemblages and focusing on specific geological and biological processes are also included.
