Hani El-Nezami is the Associate Director of Molecular and Cell Biology Area at the University of Hong Kong and a Professor of Gut Health and Food Safety at the University of Eastern Finland. His research interests include modulation of gut microbiota by dietary means and how such modulation contributes to disease prevention, development and progression. Prof El-Nezami has been an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports since 2017.
Saori Furuta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Toledo. Her research interests include tumor microenvironment, cancer immunology, cancer immunotherapy, and the microbiome. Dr Furuta has been an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports since 2019.
Kaitlin H. Wade is a Lecturer of Epidemiology at the University of Bristol. Dr Wade and her team focus on the appropriate application of causal inference methods, including the use of comprehensive longitudinal cohorts, randomized controlled trials and Mendelian randomization, in understanding the causal role played by the human gut microbiome on cancer etiology and other related health outcomes. Dr Wade has been an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports since 2017.
